The development periods of
the company:
• 28/12/1993: Establishment of Optical fiber Cable
manufacturing joint-venture Company VINA-GSC.
• January 1994 - March 1995: Facility construction,
assembly installation and trial production.
• March 1995: Inauguration of the plant and start of
production - business.
• October 1996: Inauguration of Filler yarn production
line, contributing to increase production capacity at 1.5 times.
• 1998: Reception of the certification of quality management
ISO 9002.
• 1998: The company successfully built an optical
transmission laboratory VILAS – 014 of national standard laboratories, to meet
the test product during production, installation and implementation services at
the request of customers. On 28/11/2007, Office of Accreditation issued
Decision No. 452/QD-CNCL recognized the Optical transmission laboratory of the
Company as conformity and meet requirements of ISO / IEC 17025:2005 with the
list of 13 measurements for the electric field and having number VILAS 285.
• 2000: The first export shipment of 300 kms optical
fiber cable type 12 cores (through the parent company of LG Group - South Korea).

21st January 2002: Reception of the certification of quality
management ISO 9001-2000.
• 2005: Installation of additional 01 new Sheathline
assembly, contributing to improve production capacity up to twice.
• 10th August 2007: Conversion of
business type into Limited Company of two members and over, the Company changed
its name to Optical fiber Cable manufacturing Company Limited VINA-LSC.
• 16th June 2008: Conversion of business type,
the Company changed its name to Vienam Optical Fiber Cable Joint Stock Company
(abbreviated name VINA-OFC., JSC)
• Every year, the company capacity can reach at from
250,000 kms to 300,000 kms optical fiber quivalent to 10,000 kms to 12,000 kms
producted- cables.
