VINA-GSC is a Vietnam’s Joint Venture Company between (Korean) LG Cable Company and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporations (VNPT), specializing in manufacturing different types of high quality Optical Fiber cables for the telecoms & communications industry.
Our factory has been producing optical fiber cable by the latest technology of AT&T and our machine is designed and supplied by NOKIA–MALIFFER.
We are also offering a wide range of other related products and services for the telecoms industry, ranging from optic cable accessories, coaxial cable, optical transmission equipment (SDH and access), project consultancy, site survey, installation, acceptance testing, maintenance, to training and so on; combined with our professional and skillful technicians, advanced technology, well-organized logistics, in-depth sales and technical services.
History
28th Dec 1993 * Granted Business license.
1994 * Ground breaking ceremony.
* BOM meeting & company establishment.
* Technology training in Korea & Finland.
1995 * Manufactured and supplied optical fiber cable.
1996 * Expanded manufacturing capacity from 75.000 km of fiber per year to 120.000 km of fiber per year.
* Supplied SDH transmission equipment.
1997 * Expanded manufacturing capacity from 120.000 Km fiber per year to 150.000 Km fiber per year.
1998 * Exported to USA market through LG Group with the total value 2,250,000 USD which is equivalent with 1500 km cable .
* Certificate of ISO/IEC guide 25 was granted to the company’s Optical Testing Division named 041-VILAS.
* Granted with Certificate of ISO 9002: 1994 (TCVN-5202: 1995) from BVQI & Quacert.
2003 * The name of the Company is changed into Optical Fiber Cable Manufacturing J.V Company (VINA-LSC). Due to LG group is sold their share holder to LS Group.
March 2007 * The Joint Venture is finished. LS Group sold out their share holder to 2 companies under the management of VNPT group, namely PTIC and TST.
10th Aug 2007 * Optical Fiber Cable Manufacturing J.V company VINA-LSC is turn into Optical Fiber Cable Manufacturing Co. ltd VINA-LSC. Its owned by three share holder is VNPT Group 50% ; TST : 25 % ; PTIC 25%
16 June 2008 * Optical Fiber Cable Manufacturing Co;ltd VINA-LSC is turn into Vietnam Optical Fiber Joint Stock Company ( VINA-OFC ) officially . Its owned by VNPT group 50% , PTIC 25% and TST 25% .
9 Oct 2008 * The first shareholder’s meeting took place laying out the foundation for the development of company.
